What can I do with this App?
This app allows you to connect your Inklay to your Wi-Fi. The configuration of the Inklay is not (yet) possible via the app. For this, you can use our web application.
What is Inklay?
Inklay is a simple, low-powered e-paper device. It is connected over Wi-Fi with the cloud. With your Inklay-Account, you can choose what to show. At the moment, the following features are supported:
Image-Gallery: You can upload your own pictures and your Inklay will show it sequentially.
Website: You can enter a URL and your Inklay will show this website. Advanced users can furthermore provide selectors or classes to only render certain elements of a website.
Why Inklay?
Compared to other solutions, Inklay offers you a complete solution that just works.
- No complicated setup
- You can get started right away
- Extend and write your own apps with web-technology
What is nice about Inklay?
Usually, your Inklay is configured to wake up a few times per day, get a new image to display from the cloud and then goes back in to sleep to save battery. The display, thanks to the e-paper technology, keeps the image also when the device is in sleep mode (or even completely switched off). You can configure the wake-up intervals in your Inklay-Account. With that method, your Inklay device can run on battery for several months without charging.
Where can I get an Inklay?
Inklay is currently in beta testing and devices are for sale only in Switzerland. Please get in contact if you are interested.
